I Had The Life I Dreamed About
There was a time when I was making around $250,000 and living
the life I had dreamed about. I had a business. I had momentum. I had a future
I thought was guaranteed.
Addiction changed all of that. Little by little, the things I had built started
slipping away until I lost my business, my stability, and almost everything I
thought defined me.

At My Lowest, I Was Starting From Nothing
I went from having a successful business and a life I was proud of to being
completely homeless, living on the street with just my dog and myself.
I didn't have a polished comeback story. I didn't have a perfect plan.
I had to start with what I had.

One Day, I Woke Up And Chose A Different Life
I got clean in a tent by the trucks. That moment wasn't glamorous.
It wasn't a movie scene. It was real.
But it was the beginning. I decided that if I was going to rebuild my life,
I was going to do it one day, one decision, and one honest day's work at a time.

I Went Back To Work — And Found Myself Again
I went back to work for an old friend in the concession business.
Somewhere between the fairs, the lights, the customers, the long days,
and the smell of food cooking, something came back to me.
I remembered what I was good at. I remembered what I loved.
